No matter how much our state grows, Indiana always goes back to our agricultural roots. In fact, Indiana is one of the largest agricultural exporters in the U.S.—with 15 million acres of farmland across the state.
From corn and soybeans to livestock and hardwood, these farms are a priceless part of our ecosystem, responsible for feeding millions of people across the country and delivering farm-fresh food right to our restaurants.
And best of all, 96% of those farms are family-owned or operated, proving that the home-grown, hard-working Hoosier spirit still lives on in our community today.
