Indiana is a state built for speed

Every year, hundreds of thousands of fans make the pilgrimage to Indiana to witness The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, where state-of-the-art racecars scream around the track at speeds of over 230 miles per hour.

When you’re sitting in the stands—feeling the roar of the engines rattling your bones—it’s no wonder that the Indy 500 is a bucket list item for people around the world. But we don’t stop with the Month of May. Here in Indiana, we’re always finding new ways to push our limits year-round.

You can catch heart-pounding drag races at Raceway Park; watch high-speed hydroplanes in the Madison Regatta; try spitting up dirt on ATVs in the Badlands of Attica; or go sledding down the coolest toboggan run you’ve ever seen. From ziplining to windsurfing, Indiana has something for the thrill-seeker in everyone—-no matter what sport’s more your speed.
