I may be biased, but I can tell you from experience that Indiana has the best law enforcement team in America.

Our state police is a well-oiled machine with expert detectives, elite operatives, and some of the bravest men and women you’ll ever meet. They’re disciplined and dedicated in all that they do and trained to protect our home from any potential threats. Because we invest in our troops, as much as they invest in us.

In recent years, we’ve built brand-new police labs, commissioned state-of-the-art vehicles, and added more than $80 million in renovations to the law enforcement academy.

We provide pathways for troopers to advance their careers, including opportunities to join SCUBA and SWAT; become pilots and K-9 handlers; and even work at the Indy 500.

And we never take their service for granted. In Indiana, state troopers are offered highly competitive salaries, starting at $70,000 a year—plus benefits, early retirement, and our eternal gratitude.
