Video Transcript
Every year, right around Thanksgiving, thousands of cranes descend on Pulaski County, Indiana.
It turns out that our wetlands are a natural pitstop along the migratory pattern of the beautiful sandhill cranes with numbers peaking at over 30,000 cranes at once.
This natural wonder draws photographers from across the globe, looking to capture their majesty on film, as the cranes take off with almost military precision. And it’s amazing, being able to experience that—to witness nature at its cleanest and finest—right here in Indiana.
