You know, the buffalo were here before we were. Our cities and towns followed their path across the state, sprouting up along the Buffalo Trace. Now, we’ve come full circle, preserving and cultivating these powerful creatures.
At the Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve up in Fremont, they have over 250 bison roaming across the prairie, and there’s nothing cuter than watching the baby bison running around every summer.
As you sit and admire the beauty of the herd that dots the landscape, you’re left with just an awestruck feeling, being that close to what’s been part of Indiana from the very beginning.
