Up in Lafayette, Purdue University is leading the nation in semiconductor research, rolling out a first-of-its-kind microelectronics degree program. Notre Dame hosts ASCEND, a microelectronics research center; while Indiana University boasts the world’s first and largest School of Informatics, specializing in high-demand tech like data analytics and artificial intelligence.
