Indiana may be land-locked, but we’re actually home to the third largest naval installation in the United States: NSWC Crane.
Crane is a vital location for the U.S. Department of Defense, where our most talented scientists and engineers come together to support the modern warfighter.
They lead the nation in cutting-edge defense technology and specialize in critical sectors like electronic warfare, strategic missions, and special operations weapons.
But Crane is also a national hub of research and innovation, driving new microelectronics initiatives and elite testing laboratories. Crane even hosted the first-ever Hypersonics Innovation Conference right here in Indiana, inviting some of the brightest minds in the U.S. to discuss new ways to defend our nation and way of life.
