Before Six Flags, Universal Studios, or Disney World, there was Holiday World—known as the world’s first theme park.
The Holiday World we know today offers roller coasters, water slides, and festive attractions for every holiday. But Holiday World originally opened as Santa Claus Land back in 1946.
This winter wonderland was forged out of the forest to bring the joy of Christmas to Santa Claus, Indiana. Since then, thousands of letters to Santa have arrived at the park with each one getting a response directly from their volunteer elves.
And best of all, Holiday World is always rated one of the cleanest, safest parks in America, which is a huge point of personal pride for us all.
